General Information
The Boulder O48 League is an outdoor adult competitive league played at Pleasant View Fields in Boulder on Tuesday evenings in the Fall and Spring. (The Fall 2024 season has concluded.)
The league is sponsored by the City of Boulder Parks & Recreation and administered through Boulder Indoor Soccer.
The league is currently comprised of six teams, representing longstanding clubs that have been active in area soccer for over twenty years. Team rosters are determined by blind draw prior to the Fall season.
The Boulder adult soccer community includes a wide variety of players of many backgrounds and skill levels. On any given game day, you will find many players whose tenure in Boulder soccer is measured in decades, others in days.

Yes and yes. Games are officially refereed, scores tallied, and league winners determined every season. That said, the league operates in a spirit of camaraderie with an emphasis on clean play. Communal post-game gatherings across all league players are the norm.

The league is player-run with relationships with the City of Boulder, Boulder Indoor Soccer, and the Colorado Adult Soccer Association.

You can join if you are currently 48 years of age or older. You are also eligible to play in any season during the calendar year of your 48th birthday.

The teams are determined by a random draw across players a week or two before the start of the Fall Season.

Yes. All players joining the league must go through the process of registering for the league and being placed on a team by the management committee, who will assess the relative needs of each team at the time you join. In this league, you do not directly join a team.

Players must register with the Colorado Adult Soccer Association ($75) once per year. Each season, team managers will also assess team dues of $80.
